dancing with Izzy

On the 28 Nov my class had they last dance. lesson. it was very fun to know how to dance so good so my class had to listen to Izzy the dancing teacher. We had to listen because it was Izzy last day at glen Innes School so we had to listen to her but the good thing is that she tech as a new dance and that is the good thing. I liked the dances that Izzy did and I hope she can come back aging.

Maths Prototec T4W7

On the 28 Nov I have done it I go a good mark on my prototec maths test. All the time I use to get 75 or 79% but not to day I got 80% on the test that I did but my next one is going to stage 5 then To stage 6.

Kapahaka group

On the 24 Nov Glen Innes schools Kapahaka group went to the Kapahaka festival in GI. We went to GI to try to win the Kapahaka festival it was fun doing the festival with all of my maori friends it is good to learn from my friends because they learn and they try. I like the Kapahaka festival it was fun and cool because we got to eat.

etching art

On the 20th Nov my class did etching art on Friday last week. The colours that I used was blue red and green then I had to add 3 new colours on each of them so it will be good when I paint it then I draw it with a ice cream stick so it looks real when it is done. The theme that I did was about fortnite I did the meed kit the Jug jug and I did a fortnite skin he had done his fortnite dance. one of the artist that did etching art was Rembrandt he was one of the artist the did it to.  

Food on a plate art

On the 9 Nov 2018 my class made food art on a plate It was fun to do it with my class room. First we had to draw it then we had to get a plate then put all the things that we had draw on it was fun doing the drawing on one of the papers and doing it on the plate was fun to. I like to do art in my own time because I get to do what ever I what at the art time I will say that I am a pit good at the art that I do in my class because it has to be fun. The art that I did was a cheeses spider.

Maths prototec W3T4 2018

On the 31 Oct 2018 I got pot up a stage. I got pot up a stage because I am a year six and I have to step up a year so that why I am on a stage 5 I hope to get 100% on stage 5 and go to a stage 6 and be a year 6.

On September 26 I have been getting the old score all the time. So I have to step up a year and get to a stage 5 or 6 but if I have to do that then I have to get 100% on all of my stage and if I do that then I have to learn my timetable's and keep practise all the time.

Tessellation pattern

On the Sept 25 my class did Tessellation pattern. The tessellation work that I got from my teacher was very simple because the perfect pattern made it look fun when it wood be done and it look great when it was done. I very liked the tessellation pattern because I got to use blue and pink it looks so cool when it was done and on the next side I use blue green and Yellow I liked the tessellation pattern it was very fun to do in the classroom with my friends.

Star Wars Art

Today my class and I had to complete our robot art. This piece of art took us a few minutes to do, but it was fun. We enjoyed it because there was dying included and the person who created this style was Karl Apple.

I improved today

Today I have Improved just a bit because. I got a 3p in my maths last week and 21 Sept I got a 2p I have been going back a bit but I got a good result this week and last week to.

On the 19 September I did my maths and I got the old score that I got last week and the week. Before I need to set up a year and get to sage 5 or 6 so I can get a good score like 100% in all of them so I have to now all of them.

Today on the 12 September I did a stage 4 I got 76%. I got that four weeks ago and that is not good for a year 6 student. I have to now my maths a lot better and get 100% on stage 4 timed and go to stage 5 and 6. 

Tonga language week

Malo e lelei if you no that it is Tongan language week so that why I am talking like his because my hole school is celebrate Tongan language week. We are going to get to eat Tonga food from my school teacher and her name is Mrs Tuakoi. she is a nice teacher at my school Ma'u ha aho lelei that means have a nice day in Tonga

I have to go up a stage.

Today on September 5th I got 78% on stage 4 on week 7. I think that I have to go up a stage because I am a year 6 boy and I will learn my groupings to 10 and to 100 and my addition to 20 so I will have to setup up a stage so I have to learn them all.

2018 Daffodil Day

Daffodil Day is a day when we all wear a daffodil so it can make as remember the people that had die with treatment cancer. I am witting because two of my teachers from GI School who had die from cancer over the past years was Siaosi Tongilava and Whae Emily.

fractions maths game

•   I was playing a game of matching fractions.  I had match ¾ with words three quarters and a picture that showed three quarters.  This game was easy/ difficult/ confusing for me  because it was very fun and fast to play with my classmate like Tama Paerau Rachel Syria and Glaysia.

I was so happy to go to Te tuhi because I love to do  art in my own time when i'm at home with my mum she is why I like to do art.

  I had so much fun at Te tuhi and I hope to go again some day later     

Pak n save trip

My writing is about when my class and I went to pak n save in Glen Innes on the 13th August. My class went to pak n save to learn how to keep fit and healthy so we went there to learn just about that. I was very happy to go there and learn same new staff and I hope to go there again with my class mates
 and thank you so much Adele for the good day.  

Food for thought 31 July 2018

• On the 31 July Adele from the health foundation came to talk to as about keeping as fit and health.

•  She came to as to talk all 
• about how to be fit and health and to not eat food with lots of  Sugar in it and Oil food and fizzy. So Adele said you had to eat stuff like Fruit and Vegetable and cereal with less Sugar in it.Next Adele went to pass as some bared like coco pops honey buffs and cone flakes and 
• 
  
• .We had to count the energy the sugar the fat the fibre and the SodIum so we all count it up. After we did that we got given same cards with bottle on so we had to pick the cards with no Sugar and same cards  with a lot of Sugar in it. We had to put them it to right order. Then like five minutes we were done then Adele went to the next school.

• We all had a great time with Adele and I hope she can came back again. 🙂

Makeing cupcakes

Walht write a procedure (step by step)

Ingredients

4 Packet of cake mixs.

8 eggs.

12/4 3 cup milk.

16 tablespoons of butter.

Utensils

Handmixer.

Big bowl.

Measuring cup.

Spoons.

Cupcake trays.

Paper cup.

Method  

🔴Switch on your oven to 170 degrees.

🔴Empty the cake mix into a big bowl.

🔴Add 16 tablespoons of butter.

🔴Crack 8 eggs.

🔴Pour them into the big bowl.

🔴Mix it for ¾ minutes.

🔴Fill ½ into same paper cups.

🔴Bake it for 15 minutes.

Peanut Butter Biscuits

Ingredients

1 cup  softened butter. 227 grams.

1 cup of smooth or crunchy peanut butter.

1 cup of chelsea white sugar.

1 cup chelsea soft brown sugar firmly pack.                                

2 egg.

½ of a cup of flour.                                           

1 tsp baking powder.

1 tsp baking soda.

½  tsp of salt.

2 cup chocolate chips.                           

 

                                                                   

Utensils.

Hardmixs.

Big mix bowl.

Measuring cup spoon.   

Method

1. Put your butter into a big mix bowl.

2.  Cut the butter into same little cubes.

3.  Scope the peanut into your mix bowl.

4.  Mix the peanut into the butter.

5.  Clarke two egg into the bowl.

6.  Add same white sugar and brown sugar with flour.

7.  Then get same baking powder and put that in your mix bowl.

8.   Next get a tsp of baking soda an put that with the baking powder.

9.  Now grab a tsp of salt and put that in.

10.Then get two cup of chocolate chips and put that on your biscuits.

11.  Then roll the mexstra into little ball.

12. Put same chocolate chips on to your mexstra.

13. Then put all the biscuits that you have made in the oven to baking.

14 when it is done you can eat the Peanut Butter Biscuits that you have made.

Today I have went backward. Because I had to improved my e-asttle read on the 13 of june I got 2p and on the april 06 I got 2p again so I have to improved my read.        

Matariki art

Today my class and I just finish to make our matariki art of the seven sister of matariki and it will be displayed in my school hall.

Matariki acrostic poem

M - Matariki is a symbolism on the 15 of June.

A -  All the maori celebrate matariki at the beginning of a maori new year.  

T -  The sisters are a sign of a new year.

A -  At the time the seven sisters come to see us again.

R -  Ranginui is the seven sisters great grandfather.

I- Iwis have There own maori myth .

K -  Kumara can be eaten on matariki day.

I -  It is good luck if you can see the seven sisters star shine.

Simple electric circuit

Today i made a very cool and very simple electric circuit. first we had to drew a little picture of our simple electric circuit so we can make it. My one has a lightbuld a switch and a little battery for it to run on and that is how you make a simple electric circuit.

 My electricity measured is a good tool to have in your house. It can be in or out of you house it can help you measured you electricity of your house and keep you safe in you house
