Te Oro

My class room 6 and room 7 went to Te oro to go do some fun workshops. We were split into three group then we had fun and different things to do. I hope to do this again and do some more things that will be fun for me and for my school. Ohh and when I was done I had a mean as chain and the most coolest ring.

Matariki acrostic poem

M - Matariki is a symbolism on the 15 of June.

A -  All the maori celebrate matariki at the beginning of a maori new year.  

T -  The sisters are a sign of a new year.

A -  At the time the seven sisters come to see us again.

R -  Ranginui is the seven sisters great grandfather.

I- Iwis have There own maori myth .

K -  Kumara can be eaten on matariki day.

I -  It is good luck if you can see the seven sisters star shine.
